CARE Club - After School Program
The CARE Club is a free program provided through ELOP and ASES funding from the state to provide families with a minimum of 9 hours of continuous childcare from the start of the school day until 6:00 pm. Daily attendance is required to remain in the program but families can sign students out early for activities outside of school if communicated in advance. To join our waitlist, please contact our ELOP line at 657-295-6394. Our Team will reach out to you with more information if space is available for your child(ren). Acceptance into the program is based on need and availability.
City of Costa Mesa- ROCKS Program
Recreation on Campus for Kids (R.O.C.K.S) afterschool program is a fee-based program at the following Newport-Mesa Unified School District elementary school sites: Adams, California, College Park, Davis, Killybrooke, Paularino, Sonora, Victoria and Whittier. The R.O.C.K.S Program provides supervision by City of Costa Mesa Parks & Community Services staff on the school’s playground Monday through Friday from the time school is dismissed until 6:00 p.m. for children in grades kindergarten through 6. The program is open during the school year and is closed during all school holidays, in-service days, and vacation breaks. This program focuses on four areas: educational activities, youth sports, recreation, and arts & crafts. Staff encourages personal growth, academic enrichment, and group cooperation in a structured environment.

Enrichment Classes - After School Classes (10 weeks)
Enrichment Classes are a special offering held twice a year for 10 weeks - September-December and January-April. Enrichment classes focus on providing opportunities to explore the arts, STEM, and sports. These add-on classes are open to all students at the school but may be designated for specific grades based on class type. Students in either of our after school care programs may enroll in enrichment classes concurrently. Our Team will ensure they check in with their Afterschool Program before heading to their Enrichment Class and will return them to their Afterschool program at the end of their class.
Class size is limited to 20 first-sixth grade students and just 10 TK-K students. Be sure to sign up using the Google INTEREST Form as soon as you receive the Fall Enrichment information flyer via our weekly Friday Newsletter. Parents must complete an online INTEREST Form and await confirmation prior to the first class. We anticipate the demand for these classes to be HIGH! Please check that your child can attend ALL classes before registering. Students who miss one or more classes may be dropped if students remain on a waitlist.
