Welcome back to another exciting school year! The 2025–26 school year promises to be filled with meaningful learning, new opportunities, and memorable experiences for all of our students.

Last year, we were honored to be named a California Distinguished School, a recognition that reflects the outstanding academic growth of our students, the dedication of our staff, and the strong partnerships we’ve built with families and our community. This achievement is a testament to the incredible work happening each day at Adams Elementary.

As your principal, I feel truly fortunate to serve such a vibrant and supportive community. I’m proud to work alongside our talented educators, enthusiastic students, and committed families to ensure every child feels valued, challenged, and supported. At Adams, we hold high expectations while cultivating a warm and inclusive environment where students thrive.

I believe in educating the whole child—balancing strong academics with enriching opportunities in the arts, athletics, STEM, and character development. We are committed to helping every student build confidence, form positive friendships, and enjoy a joyful and engaging elementary school experience.

With 25 years in education—as a science and AVID teacher, assistant principal at both middle and high school levels, K–8 principal, and executive director overseeing schools—I bring a deep passion for instructional leadership and student success to my role as principal of Adams Elementary within Newport-Mesa Unified.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling, and hiking whenever I get the chance. These experiences continue to inspire my belief in curiosity, lifelong learning, and the power of community.

A strong education is built on collaboration, and I am grateful to be part of a school where students, staff, and families work together in such meaningful ways. If you ever have questions, ideas, or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I truly value your input and partnership.
